- Identity & Contact — your name, phone number, and email address when you submit a booking or enquiry form.
- Trip Data — pickup and drop-off locations, ride dates, vehicle preference, and trip history.
- Communication Data — messages, feedback, and complaints you send us via WhatsApp, email, or our contact form.
- Technical Data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on site. Collected automatically via web analytics.
- Driver Application Data — for prospective drivers: licence number, vehicle category, years of experience, and uploaded documents.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
- To process and confirm your cab bookings and service requests.
- To communicate with you about your booking via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- To assess and process driver applications.
- To improve our website, services, and customer experience.
- To analyse website traffic and understand how visitors use our platform.
- To send service-related updates (we do not send unsolicited marketing emails).
- To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under applicable Indian data protection law:
- Contract — processing necessary to fulfil a booking or service agreement with you.
- Legitimate Interests — improving our services and operating our business responsibly.
- Consent — where you have given explicit consent, such as submitting a contact form.
- Legal Obligation — where required by Indian law.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Assigned Drivers — your name and contact number are shared with the driver assigned to your booking, solely for trip coordination.
- Service Providers — trusted third-party vendors who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, SMS gateway) under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance — where required by court order, government authority, or applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy:
- Booking and trip records: up to 3 years for accounting and legal compliance.
- Driver applications: 12 months from the date of application.
- Website analytics data: 12 months on a rolling basis.
- Contact form submissions: 6 months or until the matter is resolved.
After the retention period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
7. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses minimal tracking to understand usage patterns. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. The analytics data we collect is anonymised and used solely to improve our website experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly as a result.
8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, or destruction. 10. Children's Privacy
